An incredibly beautiful performance was given by the Choir Aella at the First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa this past Sunday, November 5^th in Ottawa. Their concert, titled  “The Earth is Tired” blended Indigenous songs/notes with other tunes in a most creative way. The images and sounds, though sad at times, were still empowering and hopeful. GentleWays tabled with our friends from the Plant Based Treaty.   We’re both promoting plant-based options in our diets. While the concert marked the end of First Unitarian’s four year focus on climate change, its Environmental Action Group will continue to promote advocacy and actions to address the climate change crisis.
